Chennai: The protestors in support of bull taming sport Jallikattu at the Marina Beach today in the morning were removed by the Police officials. For over five days the citizens are protesting across the state.

Yesterday, some of them warned that they will block the Republic Day celebration. Around 5:00 AM the police arrived at Chennai's Marina Beach and started removing the protestors. Tamil Nadu Cheif Minister O. Panneerselvam was not allowed by the protestors to inaugurate the Jallikattu event at the Madurai's Alanganallur.

The police removed women, children too and also students who had formed Human Chains. On Sunday, in some parts of the Tamil Nadu, Jallikattu sport began just day after the ordinance passed by the Tamil Nadu state.
