Narsinghpur : The police administration is gearing up to ensure the peaceful and fair and transparent conduct of the upcoming civic body and panchayat elections. Accordingly, superintendent of police Narsinghpur Vipul Srivastava appealed to the residents of the district to cooperate with the administration in the peaceful conduct of elections by following the code of conduct during the upcoming municipal body/panchayat elections. At the same time, the police administration appeals to the voters to inform the police about the fear-free voting and the activities of anti-social elements so that legal action is ensured against them. The police and administration have made all preparations to ensure that the elections in the district are fair and peaceful. Superintendent of Police Vipul Srivastava directed all police station in-charges of the district to increase police patrolling in the district, to keep a constant check on suspicious persons, to keep a close watch on all hotels, restaurants, dharamshalas, bus stands, etc., to keep a close watch on them and to keep a watch on the suspects, to keep a close watch on them, to keep a special drive against illegal liquor vends and proclaimed/bail argument offenders. Continuous action is being taken under the direction of Superintendent of Police Vipul Srivastava:-
Special drives are being carried out continuously to ensure peaceful conduct of elections in the district. In the same order, the Code of Conduct announced for panchayat elections from 27.05.2022 to 20.06.2022, under section 107/116 J.F., Section 110 J.F., Section 110 J.F.F. and Section 151 J.F.F. Under this, preventive action has been taken against 3022 persons in 2856 cases and 3110 persons have been given bond-over in 2989 cases. Section 122 J.F. against the violator of the said restrictive action. Action will be taken to send him to jail for a period of six months.

A total of 12 habitual offenders have been prepared and sent to the District Magistrate for action in the District Magistrate by identifying the habitual offenders of the district and taking action against them and the proposals sent earlier and the proposals sent during the period have been obtained and the orders issued by 19 habitual offenders have been obtained and bonded for one year. Taking action against anti-social elements under the district, 02 country-made pistols, 04 live cartridges and 27 sharp-edged weapons have been seized and action has been taken under the Arms Act.

Continuous action being taken against the persons involved in the trade of illicit liquor:-
In order to completely ban the trade of illicit liquor in the district, continuous action has been taken against those selling/transporting illicit liquor and 142 cases have been registered from 27.05.2022 till date and 142 accused have been arrested from which 486 litres of illegal country/raw liquor and 16 litres of English liquor have been seized.
