Pollution reduced in Delhi, air quality reached 'Moderate' category after about 10 days

New Delhi: According to the Air Quality Index on Sunday in the national capital New Delhi, the PM 2.5 level is 129. According to the Ministry of Earth Science's application Safar, the level of PM 2.5 has been recorded in the Moderate category at all the monitoring stations in Delhi except Chandni Chowk, while in Chandni Chowk, Vari Pur category is maintained.

In addition to Delhi, Gurugram and Noida are also in the air quality moderated category. PM 2.5 level in Gurugram today is 127 while in Noida it is 143. On Friday, due to the rain and strong winds in some areas of Delhi, the level of pollution has been recorded. On Saturday, the PM 2.5 level was in the Poor category while on Friday the PM 2.5 level was in Delhi.

Let me tell you that in view of the serious problem of pollution in Delhi, the Kejriwal government of Delhi has once again decided to implement Aud Even. The odd-even rule will be effective between 4-15 November next month. On Thursday (17 October), Delhi's CM Arvind Kejriwal issued some key instructions related to the Odd-Even rule on Thursday. CM Kejriwal has said that those who violate the rules will have to pay a fine of Rs 4,000. However, in the year 2016, the fine amount was Rs 2,000.
