The incidents of harassment are between January-February 2019. In this case, the officer further quoted the complainant as saying, '32-year-old accused Somnath Chavan has told that someone has done black magic on her family so that girls cannot conceive.'

In this case, the police said that the accused had also asked for 5 lakh rupees for the ritual and the accused also sexually harassed and raped the 5 sisters and threatened to kill. The police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the accused has been arrested.
