Amritsar: Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh has said that according to experts and various studies, if the people of Punjab follow the curfew with full discipline for 5 weeks, then the case of new corona will not come out in Punjab after that. It is extremely important to follow curfew for so many days to prevent this disease from progressing further.

CM Amarinder, on Baisakhi urging people not to come out of their homes, said that they should pray to Waheguru to liberate Punjab from the Corona epidemic at 11 am in our homes, so that our children and future generations can be protected. CM Amarinder said that due to lockdown and curfew, an additional 200 mandis have been arranged in the state. Only one or 2 villages can go to a nearby mandi. 1800 mandis already existed.

Captain Amarendra Singh said that due to the curfew-lockdown implemented in the state, where the general public is facing difficulties, he himself is fed up sitting at home, but there is no other way. He expressed hope that the conditions regarding Corona virus will improve a lot in the coming 15 days, after which the government will take a decision to gradually remove the curfew.
