In fact, he has increased the salary of government employees in the State by 15 per cent. According to reports, new Congress CM Charanjeet Singh Channi announced the decision as soon as he was sworn in as CM. In this regard, the salaries of state government employees have been increased by 15 per cent. According to the order issued by the Punjab Finance Department, the hike will be based on basic pay and 11.3 per cent Dearness Allowance.

On the other hand, CM Charanjeet Singh Channi has asked officials and government staff to reach the office at 9 pm. At the same time, he has asked them to remove the problems of the people on a priority basis. If you know, the Punjab Cabinet had announced a 15 per cent hike in the basic pay of government employees last month itself.
