Punjab Police busts flesh trade in Batala, 8 arrested

Gurdaspur: Batala police has busted a sex racket in Punjab. On the basis of secret information, the police raided and arrested three girls and five youths. The police had been receiving complaints about this fraud for a long time. The police have busted the sex racket gang being run in Malli Mohalla area of Prem Nagar in Batala.

During the raid, the police arrested 5 boys and 3 girls in the position of sex racket operator and emergency. The police have taken action and registered a case. After the police raid, the people of the locality raised the question and said that we had complained to the DSP of Batala City many times about this business of public outrage. Even after the complaint, there was no hearing nor any action was taken.

SHO Amolak Singh of Batala police station civil line says that he was patrolling along with the police team on Kahnuwan Road, meanwhile, someone reported that a sex racket was going on in a house in Malli locality. After receiving the information, the police raided the said house. During the raid, three girls and five youths were arrested along with the Chakla operative woman who was present in suspicious circumstances at the base.
