Amritsar: A goat named Sher Khan belongs to village under Sangrur district of Punjab is creating headlines. Buying this goat on the occasion of Bakrid is considered very special. The price of a goat for a year and a half has been imposed at Rs 3 lakh only, while the owner of the goat is asking to sell it for Rs 5 lakh. The owner says that the goat is special because Allah is written in Arabic language under its ear.

The festival of Bakrid is going to come in just a few days. In this festival, animals are sacrificed. Special goats are also purchased at high prices. The biggest goat market used to be in Malerkotla in the district, where people from Rajasthan, Haryana and Himachal come to buy goats. Thousands of people gather here every year and goat bids are made in lakhs of rupees. But this time the fair is not being held due to Corona, but in the meantime, one and a half year old goat of Kanganwal village of Sangrur, Sher Khan is in the news.

However, a bid of lakhs of rupees has been made on this goat, but the owner is not ready to sell it. He is demanding more money. The owner of the goat says that when Jai Mahesh (name of the goat) was 2 months old. He came to know at that time that this goat is very special. This is because Allah is written in Arabic language under its ear. Let us tell you that if something like this is written on the goat's forehead, throat or body, then its value increases.
