Radhika Apte is an actress who has played variety of roles and nailed each of them. From playing characters like Phaguniya in Manjhi- The Mountain Man to playing role of Ana Research and Analysis Wing officer, Anjali Mathur in Scared Games, she plays each role with perfection. She has also worked social issue-based movies like Parched and Padman which focus on social issues like menstrual hygiene and women safety.

Radhika has worked in movies which raise voice on social issues. However, the actress says that she didn’t worked in them as their social message but she has done this movie because of their good story. In an interview to IANS, the Scared Games actress said that  She did 'Padman' not only because of its social message. She did it because it was a good story. She further added that “I run after good stories. If I did not like the story of 'Padman', and if it was imparting the same message, I probably would not have done it”. She also added that  I am not here to do films with just social messages. I am an actor. I want to be a part of stories.

Radhika Apte has proved that she is versatile performer and can play any kind of the role. She gained a huge popularity by doing web series like Sacred Games and Lust Stories. She has got appreciated of her work in her last movie AndhaDhun.
