NEW DELHI:  Congress President Rahul Gandhi will appear before Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the fourth time on Monday in connection with the National Herald case.

Rahul Gandhi's questioning was originally scheduled for June 17, but the senior Congress leader wrote to the Enforcement Directorate to postpone it due to his mother Sonia Gandhi's illness.

The investigation agency accepted his request and asked him to appear on Monday.

Rahul Gandhi was grilled for about 30 hours on three consecutive days last week, amid widespread Congress protests in the national capital against their leader being questioned.

He was reportedly questioned about a few transactions made by Dotex Merchandise Pvt Ltd, based in Kolkata.
Sonia Gandhi, who is currently hospitalised with Covid-related health issues, has also been summoned in the same case on June 23.
