New Delhi: Due to the prevalence of western disturbance recently, heavy rains are expected in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on 13 January 2020. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department (IMD), a cyclonic storm is going to rise in Iran and the neighborhood on Saturday. Due to the changing weather, there is a possibility of rain in and around West Rajasthan. Light to moderate scattered rains is expected on January 13 in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi. It is expected that along with hailstorm and lightning, there could be rain in the western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.

According to the sources, meanwhile, after getting relief from cold throughout the country, cold winds are blowing again in Central India. With the northwest winds coming in the region, the minimum temperatures in Rajasthan and Gujarat have fallen by 1-2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature in Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and North Maharashtra has dropped by 3-5 degree Celsius. The Meteorological Department says that these winds will continue for the next 24 hours, due to which the temperature will fall further, due to which a cold wave situation can occur in one or two areas of North Rajasthan. It is being said that after 24 hours, the minimum temperature will be recorded in Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh, but Chhattisgarh can see a further fall of 1-2 degrees Celsius.
