Raipur: After heavy sunshine and heat throughout the day, there is little relief from the thick clouds and the storm in the evening. On Friday evening at around 6 pm, clouds again camped on the city and a dusty, full-blown storm started. Power was cut in some areas of the city for some time.

As per the information received from the sources, with the power cut, there is also news of some of the transformers failure.On Friday was the seventh day of Nautapa. From the morning the sun remained in its huge form. In the afternoon, hot air started running. Hot air continued to run till 5 p.m. After some lightning struck with light wind around about six o'clock, the weather got some cold due to light drizzling.

The scientists of the meteorological department said that there is a possibility of a rise in temperature. In 10 states of the country, the temperature has crossed 44 degree Celsius on Friday. These include Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Telangana and Maharashtra. In the Sriganganagar of Rajasthan, the highest temperature recorded for the first time in 85 years was recorded at 49.6 degree. Earlier, in June 1934 the temperature was recorded 50 degree. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in Jammu was 44 degree Celsius.
