Jaipur: A mother hanged her three children one by one in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and finally committed suicide by hanging herself. The mother's act of hanging her children has been captured on CCTV. The incident took place late on Wednesday night when the husband was not at home. When the husband saw them on his return, he was deeply shocked. Prima facie, the reason behind this incident is said to be a dispute between the husband and the wife. The case pertains to the Kapasan police station area in the Chittorgarh district.
Kapasan SHO Phoolchand Taylor said that the incident took place at the poultry farm of RNT College on Kachhia Kheri village road. In the CCTV on the farm, the mother is seen hanging the three children on the snare. The deceased's husband Bhuralal is being questioned in the case. The woman's husband has informed the police that he had gone to the market to collect milk at night, when he returned, he saw his wife and children hanging on the snare. The husband said he had been looking after the poultry work at the RNT poultry farm for seven years.
The husband said his wife Roopa was 28 years old. Eldest daughter Shivani was 7 years old, son Ritesh (6 years) and younger daughter Kiran (3 years). The woman's husband said that after reaching the spot, he had tried to open the rope, later cutting the snare with scissors. Placing the body, he informed the owner of the firm and the police. The police are currently investigating the case.
