Jaipur: The BJP's 'Thank You Modi' program organized on the issue of triple talaq in the Sikar district of Rajasthan created a lot of ruckuses. Angry over the arrival of Muslim women in the program, people threw chairs here and tore posters. According to media reports, a 'Thank You Modi' program was organized at 3 pm at the Marriage Garden on Sunday (October 9, 2022) to mark the completion of three years of the triple talaq law in Ranoli town of Sikar district.

They alleged that BJP leaders have fraudulently called Muslim women here in the name of distributing sewing machines for self-employment. Not only this, but these people also raised slogans against BJP state minister Madhu Kumawat who reached the program. The police, who reached the spot after getting information, somehow pulled out Kumawat, who was trapped between the protesters. The BJP state minister described the incident as a conspiracy by Congress. He has accused the protesters of threatening to kill the women and BJP workers who reached the event. A case has also been registered against them at Ranoli police station.

State minister Madhu Kumawat said in her complaint that around 150 women had reached the event held at the marriage garden. Meanwhile, about 400 to 500 people reached there and started creating a ruckus. Kumawat alleged that the protesters threw empty chairs. They also assaulted three BJP workers who saved their lives by jumping from the window. In their complaint, the injured activists have named Hameed Maulvi, Asif, Roshan, Nayum, Muzaffar and Ishaq as the main accused. Kumawat claims that this ruckus is a part of the Congress conspiracy. Seeing the Muslim vote being drawn towards the BJP, this whole ruckus was created at the behest of the local MLA. The Congress party is working to mislead the people by linking the issue of triple talaq with religion.
