Jaipur: A 300-year-old Shiva temple at Sarai Mohalla in the Alwar district of Rajasthan was demolished with a bulldozer. There has been resentment among Hindutva organisations over climbing onto the Shivalaya wearing shoes and running cutter machines on the idols. In protest, a complaint has been lodged against the EO, SDM and Rajgarh MLA of the municipality for filing a case at the police station. However, due to political turmoil,  the police have not yet registered a case.

The BJP is also attacking the Gehlot government of Congress over this. BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya has said that it is the secularism of Congress to hurt the faith of Hindus. Malviya tweeted, "300-year-old Shiva temple demolished in the name of development in Alwar, Rajasthan... Shedding tears at Karauli and Jahangirpuri and hurting the faith of Hindus - this is congress secularism." In another tweet, Amit Malviya said, "On April 18, the administration in Rajgarh town of Rajasthan bulldozed the pucca houses and shops of 85 Hindus without notice. given.'

Rajasthan Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas has alleged that the BJP is lying. The Chairman of The Rajgarh Municipal Body Board belongs to the BJP. They have demolished temples and houses for widening by bringing a proposal to the board. The temple has been demolished at their behest. While our MLA i.e. the Congress kept opposing. The minister in the Gehlot government has promised that if there is no legal hurdle, he will get the temple rebuilt.

What's the matter:-

In fact, a case of demolition of three Hindu temples in Rajgarh in Alwar has come to light. Under the guise of encroachment in the master plan, the Rajgarh administration demolished three temples that were 300 years old. The idols of Lord Shiva, Hanuman ji and other deities installed in these temples were vandalised and when the locals protested, they were forcibly removed by the police. The incident has been a topic of discussion in the entire area. Since April 17, such cases have been continuously coming to light in Rajgarh.
