Jaipur: Rajasthan's Ashok Gehlot government has recently taken a major decision. He has said that all 1.5 crore students from the first to the 12th will not be promoted without examination. However, due to his decision, the responsibility of the parents has increased. Due to Corona (COVID-19), schools are currently closed in the state and the government has said that school should be closed till the last day of November. Now the schools can open in the first week of December, but before that, it has been decided that all the 1.5 crore students from 1st to 12th will not be promoted without examination.

The decision to open a school can also be avoided due to coronavirus. Recently, Minister of State for Education Govind Singh has said, 'If Covid-19 slows down then the government can open schools. But the way Corona cases are increasing as the winter progresses, due to this, there is no possibility of opening of school.' The problem will come to those students who do not have any means for online studies. The Education Department has urged the parents that they should study the students in the same way as before.

The government has also made it clear that this year there will be no zero session. In this regard, students of classes 1 to 9 and 11 will not be upgraded without examination. Class 10 and 12th board exams will be held under any circumstances. All classes from first to twelfth will be tested in this session.
