New Delhi: The 39th match of the season between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be played in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) today i.e. on Tuesday. The match between the two teams will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Faf du Plessis-led Bangalore will look to strengthen their claim by winning this match. RCB's performance in the last match was very disappointing and Bangalore was reduced to just 68 runs in front of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Due to which he had to face a crushing defeat by 9 wickets. The Bangalore team will now like to forget the previous defeat and come back.

At the same time, RR is going to go into this match after registering two consecutive wins in two matches. Given the pace at which opener Jos Buttler is scoring runs, it will not be easy for the RCB bowlers to stop Buttler. Buttler has been holding the Orange Cap (IPL orange cap) for quite some time now. Apart from Buttler, RR's Yuzvendra Chahal has also occupied the Purple Cap. Bangalore batsmen need to avoid clever Chahal.

RCB are at the fourth position this season with 5 wins and 3 defeats out of 8, while RR is at the third position with 10 points with 5 wins out of 7 and 2 losses. When the two teams faced each other for the first time this season, Bangalore defeated Rajasthan by 4 wickets, in such a situation, Faf Du Plessis' team will go into the match with a psychological lead.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Faf Duplessis (capt), Glenn Maxwell, Virat Kohli, Mahipal Lomror, Suyash Prabhudessai, Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik, Wanindu Hasaranga, Josh Hazlewood, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj
