In the month of August, there is a continuous rainy period in Rajasthan. Monsoon is showing its activity in almost all areas of the state. The weather department had also forecast rain in most parts of the state on Friday. After this, there is a possibility of rain in most parts of the state today. But an alert has been issued for heavy rains especially for South Rajasthan. The meteorological department has issued Red for 4 cities on 22 August and Orange alert in 11 cities.

The weather department has declared a red alert for the four cities of the state. Today, heavy rain warnings have been issued in Banswara, Dungarpur, Chittorgarh and Rajsamand of South Rajasthan. The weather department has issued an orange alert, forecasting heavy rains in 11 districts of the state in view of the active monsoon. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rains in Ajmer, Baran, Bundi, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Kota, Sawaimadhopur, Sirohi, Tonk and Udaipur. There is also a possibility of torrential rain in some places.

Waiting for good rain for almost a month, a good rainy season has started in Banswara district. The torrential rainy season was seen from around seven o'clock yesterday. Which continued for more than three hours. Hopefully, the rainy period can continue in the coming days. If it rains like this, then the water shortage may end.
