Ayodhya: Actor Ram Charan expressed his deep sense of blessing as he witnessed the Pran Prathishta ceremony of Ram Lalla at the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Monday. Speaking to ANI, Ram Charan described the experience as fantastic and beautiful, emphasizing that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He considered it an honor for everyone to witness such a historic event, emphasizing that being born in India and witnessing this ceremony was truly a blessing.

Earlier, before departing for Ayodhya, Ram Charan had conveyed to the media, "It's a long wait, and we are all very honored to be there." For the auspicious occasion, Ram Charan donned a light-colored kurta with a brown shawl. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, a magnificent structure constructed in the traditional Nagara style, stands at a length of 380 feet, width of 250 feet, and height of 161 feet. It is supported by 392 pillars and adorned with 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the idol of Shri Ramlalla depicting the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram has been placed.

The main entrance to the Mandir is situated on the eastern side, accessible by ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar. The Mandir comprises five Mandaps (Halls): Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap. Nearby, the historic well known as Sita koop, dating back to ancient times, and the restored ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv at Kuber Tila, along with the installation of a statue of Jatayu, add to the cultural richness.

The foundation of the Mandir features a 14-meter-thick layer of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), providing the appearance of artificial rock. Notably, no iron is used anywhere in the Mandir. To guard against ground moisture, a 21-foot-high plinth has been constructed using granite. The Mandir complex is equipped with a sewage treatment plant, water treatment plant, water supply for fire safety, and an independent power station. The construction of the mandir proudly employs traditional and indigenous technology, marking a significant milestone in India's cultural and architectural heritage.
