HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Court has issued summoned to the Tollywood actress Rambha was on Thursday in a dowry harassment case filed by her sister-in-law. The case was registered in 2014, when she had come to the city from Canada for a film shoot.
Rambha’s brother Vasu’s wife Pallavi had filed a case in 2014 that her husband and sister-in-law are harassing her for dowry. The Hyderabad Court had issued summon for Rambha to appear in court, but it could not be served on her as she was residing in Canada.
Meanwhile Rambha, herself is estranged from her husband and has returned to India with her two kids and has approached the Chennai Court to seek monthly maintenance from him.
Rambha had gone to Hyderabad and the cops coming to know about it handed summon to her and the court has directed her to appear for hearing in her sister-in-law’s harassment case.
