Indore: There are only a few hours left for the new year. Two major faith centres of the city, Ranjit Hanuman Temple and Khajrana Ganesh Temple are now ready to be decorated. Both these temples are to be enriched with 552 kg of silver. In the Ranjit Hanuman temple 501 kg silver will be decorated with garbhagriha and Torana and 51 kg silver will be made the new throne of Khajrana Ganesh temple. According to the information received, the construction work to be done in Ranjit Hanuman temple will be fixed soon, while the Khajrana Ganesh temple can also start the work of the throne soon.
It is being said that the gates outside the sanctum sanctorum of Ranjit Hanuman temple will be decorated with 70 kg silver. Its base will be made of teak wood and there will be two pillars on each side. In these, the sun will be made on one pillar and the moon on the other and Hanuman will be placed as a monkey on both sides. Two peacocks will be made and its construction will be done by Manikchand Jangid, an artisan from Churu, Rajasthan.
The wood of the old throne of the temple here has deteriorated due to water. Due to this, the new throne will be built. The chief priest of this temple, Ashok Bhatt says, 'The new throne will be worth about 40 lakhs. 33 kg of silver has emerged from the old throne, which was 14 feet long and 4 and a half feet wide. The silver of the old throne will also be used in the new throne.' The reason for the new throne being special is that this time there will be no wood in the throne. This time, about 50 kg silver of 16 to 18 gauge will be manufactured on a 200 kg copper plate.
