The Bollywood star Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer  Gully Boy has recived a rave reviews at the box office. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy resonated largely with the younger audiences. Now, Zoya is on the lookout for her next story and subject. Known for taking inspiration from real life subjects, Zoya is keen to explore the genre of drama, mystery and crime according to a latest report.

According to the report, Zoya is keen on casting two male leads for her next, of which Ranveer Singh is expected to feature in one of the lead roles. The report also adds that Zoya is looking forward to make a film which is based on a gangster. For this she is also considering on buying the remake rights of the hit Hollywood gangster dramas The Departed (2006) and Gangs of New York (2002) which saw Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead roles.  The films will be adapted to suit and be based in Mumbai.

 According to the soure,  Zoya wants to take a film and adapt it for our desi audience, and it will be set in Mumbai too. She is also on the lookout for the second lead." If reports of Ranveer and Zoya coming together for this film are true then it will be their third film together after Dil Dhadakne Do and Gully Boy.
