In Punjab, five districts are affected the most by corona. A pilot project for rapid antigen investigation has been planned from Friday. Apart from this, CM Captain Amarinder Singh has approved the construction of plasma bank on Thursday. However, as a test project of ICMR, treatment is already being done in the state government hospital by plasma therapy.

There has been a meeting related to the situation of Corona in the state. This meeting has been conducted through video conferencing. While chairing this, CM has given permission to build plasma bank under the supervision of Dr Neelima Marwaha, former head of Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine. Dr Marwaha is also involved in this work earlier and is providing information related to plasma therapy test. Plasma Bank is going to work on the supply source for people with seriously ill patients or people with serious patient risk. A patient who has been cured of coronavirus has been treated extensively with plasma therapy.

Security rules are increasing rapidly in the state. Many political parties have expressed concern about it. CM said that he will soon write a letter to the supreme leaders of all political parties, asking them to refrain from making a big promotion. DGP Dinkar Gupta said that the police have registered a case against people of several political parties for breaking the security rules prescribed for protection from Corona.
