Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Wednesday that the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) will be held in July this year, with a total of 62,000 open positions.

This was expressed by Gehlot during his state budget speech to the legislature. "This year's REET exam will be held in July, with a total of 62,000 posts available," Gehlot stated.

"In 19 districts around the state, 36 women's universities will be opended. In the state, 3,820 schools from kindergarten to grade 12 will be developed, and new medical colleges. In Jaipur, an educational centre will be opended. English language schools will also be developed in Jaipur "Gehlot added. He further stated that, in order to compensate for the loss of education caused by COVID-19, a three-month bridging course for school children will be held next year at a cost of 20 crores.

The Chief Minister observed that government educational institutes and enrolment rates had improved significantly. The first-ever agriculture budget for the state was also proposed at the budget, and Gehlot promised that actions would be done to strengthen the state's farmers.
