Lucknow: The passenger was stopped at Ammausi Airport on Friday even after a negative report of COVID-19. He had to go Dubai from Lucknow, and the ticket was booked for the Vande Bharat Mission aircraft. The airline asked him to show the COVID19 negative report at the airport.

Sant Kabir Nagar resident Roshan Lal had a flight at 2:15 pm. At the airport, he showed a negative report of the COVID-19 test. The test was conducted in a lab in Gorakhpur. It is alleged that he was told that the report from an authorised pathology was mandatory. He will have to undergo a test from any Government authorised lab. Because of this, he was not allowed to board the flight.

He took it to Twitter and he also tagged the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and he sought assistance in the case. On the other hand, the aviation company says that some passengers who had earlier reported COVID-19 negative in the report when tested at Dubai airport, they tested positive. Since then, Charak and RML Labs have been authorized for the test in Lucknow. The rule, which came into effect from August 4, has already been conveyed to the passengers. Passengers who have been stopped will be sent by plane if they are found negative in the test. The matter is now under investigation.
