Kurnool: Theft took place in three houses of Fatima Nagar and Jagat Janani Nagar under One Town police station area. There is an atmosphere of great panic among the people. According to the information, a person named Hussain Basha located in Fatima Nagar had locked his house and went to his in-laws' house. Taking advantage of the locked house, the thieves entered the house and fled with Rs 4 lakh cash, one gram of gold and 15 grams of silver jewelry. The incident came to light when Hussain returned to Basha on Sunday morning and saw that the lock of the door was broken.

He immediately informed the police in this regard. Similarly, thieves broke into two more houses in Jagat Janane Nagar during the night when the landlords were outside. Soni, a resident of Jagat Janane Nagar, has gone to her parents' house in Atmkur. Here, the thieves fled with Rs 50,000 in cash, two grams of gold and 35 grams of silver jewelry. Similarly, when a woman named Jameela Bee went to her parents' house, thieves also entered her house and took 13,000 rupees. Cash and two grams of gold were taken. The victims have lodged a complaint with One Town Police. Police have started investigation by registering a case under relevant sections.

Police teams, dog squad and fingerprint experts were sent to the spots to trace the identity of the thieves. These incidents have caused panic among the residents. Residents have urged the police to intensify the night rounds in their respective areas.
