Patna: After Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, the Bihar government has also announced free corona vaccine for people above the age of 18 years from May 1. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar himself informed about the same on Wednesday. With the announcement of CM Nitish Kumar, the opposition has once again lashed out at the government.

RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said the Bihar government was not in a mood to announce it. But under pressure from leader of opposition Tejaswi Yadav, the government has made this announcement. He said there is a big difference between what the government says and what it does. The government has made several announcements in the past, but those announcements have failed. Mrityunjay Tiwari said that the announcement may not fail like the announcement of 19 lakh jobs, so the government will have to first give the full plan as the central government has made it clear that the state government will have to buy the vaccine. He said the government is announcing free vaccines, but only time will tell how effective it is on the ground. Like other things, this thing may not prove to be airborne.

In view of the increasing number of corona cases across the country, the Central Government has announced the imposition of corona vaccine on all people above the age of 18 years in the country. The process will be launched from May 1, 2021. After the central government's announcement, there was a constant question as to what is the plan of the Bihar government in the light of this announcement. Putting an end to all speculation, it has been made clear that all those above the age of 18 years in Bihar will be given corona vaccine free of cost.
