Patna: Ashraf Ahmed, son of former RJD MLC Anwar Ahmed, has been arrested by the police for allegedly molesting and misbehaving with a DSP in Bihar's capital Patna. His father Anwar Ahmed has also been kept in the police station. Now, in this case, the SHO of Pirbahor police station Sabiul Haq has given the news of the whole incident. Regarding the misbehaviour with the DSP, the SHO of Pirbahor police station said, "Senior officers had come to investigate the incident of assault with the police a day ago. After inspecting the spot, a shopkeeper from the spot where the incident took place was brought for questioning.''

According to the SHO, ward councillor Ashraf Ahmed came and started pressurising him to leave. He started arguing and misbehaving with the DSP about this. Very wrong words were used inside the police station with the on-duty officer, after that, he has been detained. The SHO said that former MLC Anwar Ahmed had also threatened the police that he would call people and create a ruckus.

Giving news of the developments a day earlier, SHO Sabiul Haq said that a video had gone viral in the past. The police was working on this viral video for the last 10 days. On Thursday, when the police went to Meena Bazar of Patna Market to nab the criminals in this case. Then some people were eating there. The SHO said, 'Nothing was found there, but as soon as the police reached the gate of Patna Market, 4 people started running after seeing us. Police caught 2 of them. Meanwhile, a meeting of people was to be held near Siya Masjid. The same people attacked the soldiers and rescued the criminals caught and because of this, a soldier was badly beaten up.' SHO Sabiul Haq of Pirbahor police station further said that the police came again and caught the criminal who had beaten up the constable. They said, Then some people came to the police station and started freeing him. People who came in the figures of 50-60 started pressuring that the person caught is innocent. The SHO said, he was told by the police that if he is innocent then he will be released, but it was not appropriate to come to the police station in this way. Further action is being taken by taking the statement of the constable and an FIR has also been registered.
