Sitapur, The family members were attacked with a country-made bomb while trying to resist robbers at their house in Rampur Mathura area in which a 45-year-old man was killed and two others injured.
According to the police, "three-four robbers threw the bomb at Janardan Singh, his wife and child when he tried to resist robbery".
Two injured members were rushed to the hospital while Janardan died on spot.
An investigation on the matter is underway.
