India's Rohan Bopanna and Ramkumar Ramanathan have clinched the Tata Open Maharashtra title. It is also being called the pair's second consecutive ATP World Tour title. Earlier, Bopanna and Ramkumar had also won the Adelaide Open. In the final of the Tata Open, the duo defeated the duo of Luke Seville and John Patrick Smith.

Bopanna and Ramkumar defeated the duo of Luke and Smith 6-7, 6-3, 10-6 in a match that lasted one hour and 44 minutes. This is Bopanna's 21st ATP doubles title. This is also being said to be Ramkumar's second title. With this win, Ramkumar can come inside the 100th ranking in doubles for the first time.  

The pair have been given prize money of about 12 lakh rupees. Each player is also being given 250 ranking points. Bopanna has earlier won the Tata Open title with Divij Sharan in 2019. In the first set, there was a tough fight between the two and the Australian pair has managed to win the set 7-6, after which Bopanna-Ramkumar has come back in the second set to win easily 6-3. In the third set too, the duo won 10-6 and won the trophy.
