Finland youngster Emile Rusuvuori entered the final of TATA OPEN Maharashtra with a win over Kamil Mashzac in the semi-finals here on Saturday and has also got a special chance to win the first ATP World Tour title.
22-year-old Rusuvuro also defeated Kamil 6-3, 7-6 in a challenging match that lasted one hour and 46 minutes at the Balewadi Sports Complex. Emil has widened the gap even further with his angle-taking shot in the first set.
In the second set, Emil came under pressure in front of Aktrasamak Kamil, but the Finnish player has also won by hitting a 5-0 lead in the tiebreaker with a series of aces.
