Murshidabad: West Bengal is known for political violence. Till now hundreds of people have lost their lives in this violence. The conflict between TMC and BJP party members has increased after BJP's rise in Bengal. The latest incident took place in Murshidabad in West Bengal where all three members of a family, including an eight-year-old child and her pregnant mother, were cut off with sharp weapons. This information has been given by a senior police officer.

The bodies of 35-year-old school teacher Bandhu Prakash Pal, his 30-year-old wife Beauty and eight-year-old son were recovered from different places in their house in Jiaganj area of the courtyard on Tuesday. Blood was spread everywhere in the house. These killings took political angle when the Bharatiya Janata Party and its ideological patron, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, said that Bandhu Prakash Pal was an RSS worker. BJP spokesman Sambit Patra tweeted a video of the bodies of the brutally killed family members, warning of disturbing scenes and wrote, "It has shaken my conscience ... a Sangh activist Mr Banduprakash Pal, his eight-month pregnant wife and their child were brutally cut off in Murshidabad, West Bengal".

"Not a word was uttered by the liberals. There is not even a letter to Mamata from the liberals. I am disgusted by the response to certain incidents like this. The entire district is in a panic due to this murder. The murders came to light when the neighbours did not reach Vijayadashami's puja pandal and saw worried neighbours visiting their house, and found the door locked from within". The National Commission for Women has sought answers from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Mamta Government on this incident.
