New Delhi: Sachin Tendulkar, the only cricketer to score 100 centuries in international cricket, has said he struggled with stress for nearly 10-12 years, holding the record for most runs in ODIs and Tests. Sachin Tendulkar said in an unacademy session that pressure, stress anxiety were all always there. What was with me was that I felt that all my preparations were physically well. But even after all this I was always stressed. Sachin Tendulkar said that he felt over time how important it is to prepare himself for the match, the series mentally.
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar said that 'Even when I was playing for India, I had sleepless nights. Over time, I realized that in addition to preparing physically for the game, you also have to prepare yourself mentally. The match started in my mind long before I entered the field. The stress level was quite high I learned to accept those things'.
