New Delhi: Former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, popularly known as the Master Blaster, on Thursday said that he will take legal action against a casino that uses his changed photographs for promotion on social media. Tendulkar, one of the great cricketers of Team India, said this while tweeting on Thursday. It is learned that 'Big Daddy', a casino in Goa, has used Tendulkar's photographs for promotion.
Injured by the misuse of the picture, Sachin Tendulkar tweeted and wrote about legal action against the company. Sachin said in his statement issued on Twitter that, 'It has come to my notice that several advertisements are being shown on social media, in which with a changed image, I am shown supporting a casino.' Tendulkar said. That, 'I have never personally or indirectly promoted gambling, tobacco or alcohol. It is very sad to see that my pictures are being used to mislead people.
Tendulkar further wrote that, 'My legal team must be taking legal action, but I felt it was important to share this information with everyone.' Let us tell you that Sachin has done many advertisements in his promotional career so far. Sachin's brand value in the ad market was very high during his playing days. However, Sachin has never advertised any alcohol, paan-masala or gambling related things.
