Chhatarpur: A great cricket tournament was organized in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. Here in the cricket field, the saints and seers, who came out wearing dhotis, hit a lot of boundaries. Due to this, the people present clapped fiercely. In fact, the KGPL cricket tournament was organized in Chhatarpur. Here the sadhus of the Akharas and priests of temples and monasteries played the match wearing saffron clothes. The sadhus hit a lot of shots while batting.

The organizing committee took photos of the saints through a drone camera. Saints of temples, monasteries, and akharas said that this event has been organized to encourage the public and new youth towards sports. A match was played between Sankatmochan Sarkar and Chauparia Sarkar team in the presence of Ajanubhuj Sarkar of Sadhu-Sant Nirmohi Akhara. The Chauparia Sarkar team won the match.

The same when asked that rosary, Vedas, and scriptures remain in the hands of saints, how was it possible to play and run in the cricket ground today, in answer to this Mahant Rajeev Lochan Das and Mahant Rameshwar Das of Nirmohi Akhara said that we are Naga saints of all Akharas. They are monks. They know how to use swords and spears etc. Just like you must have seen in Kumbh how saints and sages swing swords in the air, today in the same way cricket bats were swung in the playground. Players of both teams also hit sixes with the bat. The spectators were also stunned to see such a unique cricket match. The sages had slippers on their feet and garlands around their necks. During this, a tremendous atmosphere was seen in the field.
