Lucknow: With the resounding victory in the Mainpuri Lok Sabha by-election, the Samajwadi Party (SP) may soon get an organizational expansion. On the instructions of party chief Akhilesh Yadav, the party is fully engaged in the preparations for the municipal and Lok Sabha elections. According to the report, confidential reports are being taken from the districts for this. It is being told that the SP will soon announce the names of new office bearers from the state to the national level.

The most discussed in this is about Shivpal Singh Yadav and his son Aditya, who recently merged his Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PSP) with the SP. It is being told that Akhilesh Yadav can hand over a big responsibility to both the leaders. According to SP sources, many non-Yadav and OBC leaders in the party may be given greater responsibility. There is a plan to connect scheduled caste voters with the party. For this, the stature of many leaders can be increased. The SP is trying to answer the allegations of familyism leveled by the leaders of BJP and other parties with this formula. 

Meanwhile, on Sunday (January 15), SP's national president Akhilesh Yadav tried to corner the state government regarding law and order. He alleged that the law and order situation in UP is getting worse and worse. The state government of BJP is proving unsuccessful in the security of the people. The effective arrangements made for crime control in the SP government have been destroyed by the BJP government. The fear of the police has ended among criminals.
