Samajwadi Party MP Mohammad Azam Khan is not sleeping in Sitapur Jail. Please tell that Azam Khan, his wife and son Abdullah Azam are lodged in Sitapur Jail in the case of possessing two birth certificates and passports. In this case, the ADJ-6 court of Rampur cancelled the bail plea of Azam, his wife Tazin and son Abdullah and sent them to jail. Azam and his family were first sent to Rampur jail, then they were shifted to Sitapur District Jail due to security reasons.

For your information, let us tell you that Azam Khan and his family were brought from Sitapur on Saturday to appear in Rampur Court. At 11:45 pm on Saturday, Azam, Tazin and Abdullah returned from Rampur to Sitapur District Jail. Azam Khan was restless throughout the night in jail. Azam Khan and family did not even eat dinner. Azam Khan performed the Namaz at 5:00 am on Sunday. After that, I ate oatmeal and jaggery for breakfast at around 10:00 am.

During this time, there was a flow of people meeting the SP leader in Sitapur District Jail. Ahmed Hassan, the opposition leader in Uttar Pradesh Assembly, reached Sitapur District Jail to meet Azam Khan around 12:00 pm on Sunday. Along with him, MLC Anand Bhadoria of Sitapur, former SP MP Dharmendra Yadav and former Assembly Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey, SP MLA Alam Bandi from Azamgarh also met Azam.
