Samsung Galaxy Fold launch will be announced in a few weeks

A Samsung Electronics official said the Samsung Galaxy Fold release schedule has not yet been determined, but it should be announced "in a few weeks." This means that pre-orders on will be canceled unless you specifically ask for it (Best Buy has already canceled all pre-orders).

At the time, the Korean tech giant suggested that the Fold would launch at the end of May. As of yesterday, May became June, or possibly even July – according to Korean news outlet Yonhap News Agency, a Samsung representative has confirmed that a launch schedule will be announced: “in a few weeks”.

Samsung is still working to make the screen and hinge of its first folding phone more durable, but it looks like it will take longer than originally expected. Due to Huawei problems, the launch of Mate X was postponed, which gives the company some breathing space.

There is a possibility that the Galaxy Fold will be launched in South Korea first, before launching in the USA. Insiders suggest that the Fold release may be close to the launch of the Galaxy Note10 (initially it should have appeared shortly after S10).
