After a long wait, ‘3 idiots’ fame director Rajkumar Hirani and ‘Rockstar’ Ranbir Kapoor unveiled the teaser of the much-awaited ‘Khalnayak’ Sanjay Dutt biopic, 'Sanju'. The teaser has been liked by everyone and has received a good response from the audience. During the ceremony of ‘Sanju’ teaser launch, writer Abhijat Joshi shared an interesting incident with the Press involving Sanjay Dutt and former US President Barack Obama.
Abhijat remembered Sanjay Dutt once telling him that former US President Barack Obama knows Sanjay Dutt by the name of 'Munna Bhai'. In fact, in 2004 Dutt and Barack Obama have shared the stage at the same event in Chicago. When ‘Vastav’ fame Sanjay appeared at the event the throng left Obama and ran towards ‘Sanju Baba ‘chanting, 'Munna Bhai!'.
Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will also have star casts like Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Karishma Tanna, Manisha Koirala and Vicky Kaushal in crucial roles. The biopic is set to hit the silver screen on June 29, 2018.
