Famous actress and dancer Sapna Choudhary is in trouble these days. Sapna Choudhary's family has been accused of serious charges like dowry harassment and assault by her sister-in-law. A case has also been registered against Sapna Choudhary's brother and mother in the case, after which she appeared at Palwal police station on February 18.  

Sapna Choudhary, a popular dancer from Haryana, is often caught in some controversy or the other. Some time ago, the sister-in-law of the Haryanvi queen had made serious allegations against her husband Karan, mother-in-law Neelam, and sister-in-law. Sapna Choudhary's sister-in-law alleged that they demanded a Creta car in a dowry. Apart from this, she has also accused her husband of sexual abuse. Sapna Choudhary's sister-in-law, a resident of Palwal, has filed a case in the Women's Police Station, saying that in 2018, she was married to Karan, brother of Sapna Choudhary, a resident of Najafgarh Delhi. Since marriage, she was being tortured for dowry, she was beaten up many times, but when she gave birth to a daughter, the in-laws demanded a Creta car in Chhuchhak of the daughter.  

She further said in the complaint, "In-laws had demanded Creta from her father. The father gave Rs 3 lakh in cash, gold and silver, and clothes, but still, her in-laws' are demanding more dowry and they started harassing her to bring a Creta car. On May 26, 2020, her husband assaulted her under the influence of alcohol. About 6 months ago, she came to her father's house in Palwal. She lodged a complaint with the women's police station. A complaint has been lodged against the victim's husband Karan, sister-in-law Sapna Choudhary and mother-in-law Neelam. No arrest has been made in the case registered at the women's police station on January 25 last month. Police said that an investigation is underway. DSP Satender says that according to the guidelines of the Supreme Court, the whole matter is being investigated thoroughly. The culprits will be arrested when charges are framed.
