Abu Dhabi: Saudi Interior Ministry has said in a statement that, giving notice of Namaz or playing music loudly during Namaz has also been placed in the list of violations. The Saudi Arabian government has announced several rules of public behavior that have come into force since Saturday, and include penalties for 19 types of violations.

These rules provide for playing a loud voice in residential areas, not taking pet's excreta and urine and spitting on the road. The new rules have come at a time when Saudi is also opening its doors to foreign tourists. In the list of violations, sexual behavior, including behavior contrary to morality, has also been placed on the list of violations.
