The recruitment to the post of Apprentice has been cancelled by the SBI. SBI issued a notification stating that recruitment to 8500 posts issued on November 20, 2020, has been cancelled. In such a case, the candidates who applied for this recruitment will be refunded the fee. The news is going to come as a big shock to candidates desirous of a job in SBI. However, recently 6100 recruitments have been issued by SBI to the same post. The application process for this cancelled recruitment started on 20th November 2020. The candidates were given time till 10th December 2020 to apply. During that time, it was said that the examination for this vaccine will be conducted in April 2021. All examinations were cancelled due to lockdown caused by corona infection across India.

Fees will be refunded:-
300/- from General Category, OBC and Economically Weaker Category for this recruitment. It allowed SC and ST category candidates to apply without any fee. Details of posts:-
A total of 8500 posts were to be filled up under this recruitment issued to the post of Apprentices. It had fixed 3595 seats for general category candidates, 844 seats for economically weaker i.e. It sought a graduation degree from the candidates applying.
