Srinagar, Terrorist attack in Anantnag town of south Kashmir in which 2 policemen including an officer were killed.This is the second major attack on security forces in last 24 hours in the area.

The two cops have been identified as Assistant sub-inspector Bashir Ahmad and constable Reyaz Ahmad.

Three BSF personnel were killed and seven others were injured on friday, when terrorists attacked their convoy at Bijbehara.

Anantnag will go to polls on June 22.

Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is contesting from here. She has to be elected for the Jammu and Kashmir legislature within mandatory 6 months period after she was sworn in.

Ms Mufti took over as the chief minister two months ago.

The election process will impact due to attacks.
