Former India's hockey player Balbir Singh Sr.'s heart rate and blood pressure are stable but his condition still remains fragile. He was admitted to Fortis last week and is still in a coma condition halfway. His grandson Kabir gave this information.

Kabir said in a statement, "The MRI report has revealed a new blood clot in the brain which is difficult to tell, but he is still unconscious."

He said, "He is being treated. He is on ventilator. The doctors are constantly watching his condition." On May 8, 96-year-old Balbir was admitted to the hospital after suffering from shortness of breath and high fever. His covid-19 test was also done but he came negative.
