New Delhi: Syed Ahmed Bukhari, the royal imam of Jama Masjid in the national capital Delhi, said on Saturday that he has accepted the Supreme Court's verdict on the Ayodhya land dispute and as far as filing a review petition against this decision is concerned. He disagrees. Bukhari has told the press here that, "Muslims in the country want peace and they had already made it clear that whatever decision the Supreme Court will give, they will accept it."

He has said, "We accept the court's order and the Hindu-Muslim issue that has been going on for years should be finished now." On the question of filing a review petition against the verdict, he said, "As far as filing a review petition is concerned, he is not in agreement with it".

Let us tell you that the Constitution Bench of Supreme Court gave unanimous verdict today in Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi dispute more than five hundred years old, to hand over entire 2.77 acres of disputed land to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust and Sunni Waqf Board for construction of mosque in Ayodhya It was decided to give five acres of land at a different place.
