On the workfront, Shahid Kapoor is now gearing up for the release of his next film, Kabir Singh. It  is the official remake of Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy which featured Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. The movie has been directed by Sandeep Vanga and features Kiara Advani as the female lead. Kabir Singh which will mark Shahid and Kiara's first collaboration, revolves around the story of an alcoholic surgeon (played by Shahid) who also has anger management issues. Kabir Singh will hit the screens on June 21.
