Mumbai: Opposition leaders have been on the run since the death of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri. One opposition leader after another has been making headlines for their statement. The Uttar Pradesh government stopped all opposition leaders from going to the spot. In fact, the Government has given a chance to disturb the law and order situation. On the other hand, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was arrested by the police. However, Shiv Sena did not like the fact that opposition leaders were prevented from going to the spot. This has led to the party's pull out of the Yogi government in its mouthpiece Saamna. Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna today criticised the Uttar Pradesh government for sealing the district's borders and preventing opposition leaders from going to Lakhimpur Kheri.

In fact, the party has written in an editorial, "The Yogi government sealed the boundaries of Lakhimpur Kheri. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was arrested on the way to the spot. MP Hooda was also abused. Akhilesh Yadav was also kept under house arrest.'' It further says, "If the Indo-China border in Ladakh is sealed in the same way that the Lakhimpur Kheri border has been sealed, there will be no infiltration of Chinese troops.'' At the same time, shiv sena in its editorial has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence on the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. it reads "Our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a very sensitive and passionate person. Sometimes the Prime Minister seems to be emotional on the issues of the poor. It is shocking that PM Modi has not expressed his condolences to the farmers killed in the incident.''

At the same time, media persons have also been written about focusing on the arrest of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in a drug case except for the Lakhimpur Kheri case. Saamna reads, "For the media, Shah Rukh Khan's son is more important than killing farmers during the protest of a Union minister's son. The media is trying to shift the focus from the brutal killing of farmers in Uttar Pradesh to Shah Rukh Khan's son."
