At the same time, shiv sena in its editorial has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence on the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. it reads "Our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a very sensitive and passionate person. Sometimes the Prime Minister seems to be emotional on the issues of the poor. It is shocking that PM Modi has not expressed his condolences to the farmers killed in the incident.''

At the same time, media persons have also been written about focusing on the arrest of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in a drug case except for the Lakhimpur Kheri case.
