Bhopal:  Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, presided over a meeting with farmers' union leaders in the state capital on Thursday to discuss their concerns regarding the implementation of plans and programmes.

"The approach of Kisan Manch towards the problems of farmers is positive, and the suggestions are also practical," CM Chouhan remarked during the meeting. Incorporating the Kisan Manch's recommendations will make establishing initiatives and programmes for farmers more feasible and available. By establishing deadlines, the department should work on several components.

The chief minister also had conversations about numerous topics with the officers of several organisations, including farmers' unions, during this time.

Kamal Patel, the state's minister of agriculture, Iqbal Singh Bains, and representatives from other departments were also present at the meeting. 


Notably, Under Shivraj Singh Chouhan's leadership, the Madhya Pradesh government has implemented several initiatives and policies to promote the state's development. His focus has been on agriculture, infrastructure, education, and healthcare.

In the agricultural sector, the government has introduced schemes like Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana and Krishi Rin Samadhan Yojana to support farmers and address their financial needs. Efforts have been made to improve irrigation facilities, provide subsidies on fertilizers, and enhance agricultural productivity.

In terms of infrastructure, the state government has undertaken various projects to improve connectivity and promote industrial growth. The development of roads, bridges, and highways has been a priority, along with the establishment of industrial zones and investment promotion initiatives.
