Mumbai: The ongoing tussle between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ally Shiv Sena over government formation in Maharashtra is not stopping. The Shiv Sena is adamant on its 50-50 formula while the BJP does not appear to be in any mood to compromise on the chief minister's post. Both parties are adamant on their insistence. Not only this, both of them are not even getting hurt by firing sharp verbal arrows at each other.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut met Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) national president Sharad Pawar. This has led to speculation that Shiv Sena is engaged in efforts to form a government with NCP from behind the scenes. Sanjay Raut has said that a BJP leader is saying that President's rule can be implemented in Maharashtra if there is a delay information of the government. Is this a threat to elected legislators ..?

However, Raut has also reacted to the news of the meeting saying that the kind of situation going on in Maharashtra, all political parties except Shiv Sena and BJP are talking to each other.
