MUMBAI: Shraddha Jaiswal, who has appeared in television productions like "Gustakh Dil," "Shastri Sisters," and "Madhubala," is slated to appear in the drama titled "Sasural Simar Ka 2," which tells the tale of two sisters portrayed by Radhika Muthukumar and Tanya Sharma.

On her debut as Lavanya, a naagin (female snake), she said: "I'm hoping to stir up the plot and provide some significant twists with my arrival. I'm hoping the audience will adore my unique depiction of Lavanya." Two sisters, Simar and Reema, and the complexities in their lives are central to the drama's storyline.

The mother of Simar's (Radhika Muthukumar) spouse Aarav (Avinash Mukherjee) kills a snake in a forest to save her son in the upcoming episode. Simar, however, is terrified since she thinks it is unlucky to kill a snake. They all conduct the last rites of the naag (male snake). Lavanya then makes the decision to exact revenge on them for the naag's death.

Shraddha clarified her persona by adding: "Lavanya is a naagin out for vengeance. The five rings she wears on her fingers, each of which is loaded with a different poison, are where she keeps her incredible powers. Although she has a charming appearance, she is a ruthless killer who will do anything to achieve her goals." She finally expressed her enthusiasm for joining the cast of the show and finished by saying: "I'm overjoyed to be a part of "Sasural Simar Ka 2" and take on the very intriguing character of a naagin. It's like a homecoming for me because I've worked with producer Rashmi Sharma before. I've been watching the show, and I'm looking forward to the new song." On Colors, "Sasural Simar Ka 2" airs.
